I want to buy a remote starter for my mom. I want to buy a Viper 5701 2 Way Responder Security & Remote Start System as well as Directed DEI XK532 door lock, trunk pop, and transponder key interface. I want to install it myself but I have never installed on before. I am good with auto wiring and wired many other things on automobiles, but never a remote starter. I was wanting to get some instructions before I buy it. I know that I will have to do some wiring in the steering column and in the "smart junction box". I don't know where the smart junction box is and was wonder where I could find it. I also know that there is some programming that is needed, but I don't know how to do that either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The 532 is always a pain to program...Use something from flash-it.com...1 key programming...See if the evo-chrt1 does that car...Will have alot less frustration...It is plug and play...!
