2009 F-250, Viper 5901, PKAll

For some reason this system doesn't always remote start. When it doesn't work, everything appears to be working except the truck appears to have disabled the start system (truck security light blinks rapidly when it doesn't work, slowly when it does). It is as if the PKAll doesn't always work. By doesn't work, I mean it doesn't activate the starter, everything else seems to be functioning.

I have tried by putting the key in the ignition when it failed and it will start on the next attempt, but being an intermittent problem, it could be coincidental, though the indications seem to be the PKALL not bypassing the security during start intermittently.

Anyone have this problem before or know what it might be? All connections were soldered in, none are mechanical.

If it failed with the key in the ignition, it isn't the by-pass, look at tach not learned (or change the programming system and learn tach) as your problem.

No it did work with the key in the ignition, just meant because it is an intermittent problem, it could be coincidental that it worked.
I am using virtual tach, shouldn't it at least turn over if tach was the problem?

My apologies, thus I think you're right about the by-pass subject to a re-check on your wiring.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
