anyone know the color code for a 1.5K ohm resistor

1-band=Brown
2-band=Green
3-band=Red
If the 4th band is:
Gold=+/- 5%
Silver=+/- 10%
And if there is not a fourth band it is +- 2-%
I found this information on this site under the link to the resistors on the left.
Brown-Green-Red, in that order=1500 ohms

is a 1500 ohm the same as a 1.5K ohm??

Yes K is killo 10^3 multipply by 1000 to get ohms 1.5 times 1000 is 1500.

OOPS!!! About that 4th band...that should be +/- 20% not 2%! TYPO!!!
