Hey guys, I'm a little rusty when it comes to remote starters and was just looking for some advice to make this install as smooth as I can. I am tired of the cold weather, so I am looking at picking up a Python 991 for my 99 Subaru Legacy wagon. I have already printed out the wiring info for the car, but I am curious if I need anything additional to install it in my car. I do have a manual transmission, every one that I installed in the past was in an auto.
I don't foresee any issues, but I've been out of the game for so long, just want to make sure there are no modules I need or anything like that, I'd like to make just one order.
Thanks in advance.

no module necessary for that vehicle as far as i can tell. pretty much as basic as it gets.
the clutch thing is as simple as testing with a meter what exactly happens when you press the clutch and recreating it with the remote start unit during cranking of the remote starter.
A DMM is a beautiful thing.

I figured it was a pretty straight forward install, no real bells and whistles to work around.
The clutch thing shouldn't be a problem. They didn't actually teach us how to do them when I went to school, they talked about it, but focused on autos only. Tricking the remote starter shouldn't be hard, I know how to trick a dvd HU to play while driving, this shouldn't be too far off I imagine.
Thanks again.
