Hello everyone-

I want to do the Smart Start on my '03 Expedition 4x4. I only need it to do the remote start since I have the keypad on my door, I don't worry about locking myself out. I have some questions though, and was hoping the experts here could answer:

1) given what I said above, am I correct in assuming I would only need the VSS3000?

2) I did a search under "find installers" already and didn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone know someone near zip 21601 who can do an install and activate the unit? I would prefer not to have to drive 1.5 hours to the closest Best Buy in Annapolis and sit there all afternoon.

Any help you all can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

You'll need a bypass module still for your chipped keys.
i recommend pkall by dei. very easy to use and no need to flash. you do however need 2 original dealer made keys NOT CLONES.
A DMM is a beautiful thing.
MECP Advanced Installer Certified.
