I have installed the Avital 4103 on a 2002 Dodge Neon. I am a dodge tech so I understand wiring. I have installed numerous MOPAR remote start kits with no issue. This is my first non factory kit so i'm looking for some help.  I have followed the manual and the wiring diagram from here when installing. I have a no crank issue. I hit the button the the remote, I hear the relays come on. A few seconds later the blower motor comes on. With my test light and dmm I have no power coming out of my module for the starter output. Also the red light on the module blinks constantly. And I have power at all other power wires in the power harness. Thanks for the help.

do the parking lights flash a code of like say 7 times on the failed start.
if so the safety sequence for manual is not set. if its an automatic it must be set to that
also what bypass are you using

Blinking red light means the. Unit is locked, if you press unlock the brain should stop blinking. Have you changed any of the programming options?

I have not seen an avital unit that is manual trans compatible
Also plug the valet switch in press and hold the button, turn key to on then off, release button then press and release the button again. The led will flash a pattern to tell you what is keeping it from starting. The shutdown diagnostics is in the rear of the manual

It is an automatic. I have never got into the programming features. I attempted to remote start per the manual advised me to after connecting the box. I have no flashing lights either.

i would try to program it first, some remote start will not work until you learn the tach or set it to virtual tach(use the other one)
if not you can go to page 42 in the installation manual and try the shutdown diagnosis

What color key? what happens if you try it with the key in and turned?
This is a very simple car. like 45 minutes start to finish. should be easy to figure out with some very simple troubleshooting. you should be getting some kind of shutdown diagnostic flashing of the parking lights.... did you hook up parking lights.
A DMM is a beautiful thing.
