pkall problem, lexus is300

Hi, I am trying to get the remote start to work in my 2004 Lexus IS300 5spd with a Python 991 alarm (same as Clifford 50.7/Viper 5901) and an Expresskit PKALL module. The D2D jumpers are in the horizontal position on the brain. All connections to the car are correct, and the PKALL module correctly flashed 10 times when I programmed it. The car will ONLY remote start when: The key is next to, but not in, the ignition cylinder. The blue/white (-) while running wire on the PKALL is NOT connected to the blue/white wire on the alarm brain. The car will crank but not start when the key is not present and the blue/white wire is NOT connected. The car will not crank at all when the blue/white wire IS connected. I have already read this post: https://ifar.ca/en/support/products/47-key-override_appears_to_program_but_toyota_lexus_will_not_remote-start.html Unfortunately I don't have a valet key to try reprogramming the module. Either way, the remote start is acting funny because it only wants to work when the blue/white wire is NOT connected. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Also, after the car has remote started and is running, inserting the key or connecting the blue/white wire instantly turns off the engine.

pkall is a rebadged keyoverrideall from fortin.

check out the fortin diagram to make sure you wired it right.

Thanks for your input, but I have checked all wires and they are wired correctly. I was already aware that PKALL is the same as KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL. https://ifar.ca/en/support/products/47-key-override_appears_to_program_but_toyota_lexus_will_not_remote-start.html I am starting to think it is a faulty module. I'll probably try some different brand bypasses.

Try either of these bypasses from iDatalink, ADS-TBSL-TI or ADS-TBSL KO.  Already loaded with the correct firmware and easy to program.  Just make sure you follow the install guide (W2W mode) and add the diode isolation on the remote starts' GWR output to the cars Keysense wire.Soldering is fun!
