i bet you you need to ether relearn your tach or hook it up and learn it.
its a white wire behind the instrument cluster or at the PCM (The PCM is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment or behind the center of the dash depending on motor)
or you can use a uncommon wire on the fuel injector or Coil

X 2 with Monty_77, it's the tach that needs to be learned.

do you have the starter kill (anti-grind) hooked up.
i would try to hold the unlock button on the remote for longer than 5 seconds to see if it in a theft mode.
had this happen on a 160 rs unit when someone held the lock to long it turned the starter kill on and would not shut it off tell the person held the unlock for longer then 5 sec and the parking lights flashed and it would start by key again.

im not too sure but what i did was cut the starter wire and put green to the key side and the purple to the motor side...is that starter kill?...couldnt i just reconnect the starter wire and tap the purple wire onto it?..

that is the right way to do it the way you have it wired and that is the starter kill (anti-grind).
you can do that too by disconnecting the green and hooking the wire back together.
i would try to hold the unlock on the remote for a while and see if it will turn off the starter kill.
if you want to see if this is the case (that the start kill is active) pull all the fuses out of the Remotes starters and see if it will start. the relay should go to it off position with and start
