I have a Viper 5701 alarm installed on my 2002 F350 (gas). Just recently it has been acting weird. When I arm the system I get the chirp for it locking followed by a 2nd chirp notifying me that the door trigger is active as usual (truck has delayed lighting so system thinks door is open), then it chirps 4 times as if a soft alarm trigger. It will keep giving these 4 chirps every 5 seconds or so until I deactivate the alarm. the status LED shows 3 blinks which is the door zone. Once de-arming, it allows me to re-arm without the soft alarm tripping. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on? Doesn't do it every time but offen enough to become very annoying. Thanks

I would try going to Menu 2, Item 4, (Door Trigger Error Chirp), and turn this item OFF.  Starting on page 60 are the installation manual are the instructions as to how to get into the menus and the different options.   It takes a bit of practice, timing, and button pressing to get it unless you have a BitWriter.
When all else fails, Read the Instructions

First, shut off the door trigger error chirp. Features menu, 2-4, set it to off.
After you do that, re-arm the system and post what it is doing.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
