Where did you hook up the parking light output from the remote starter to? Did you use the (+) or the (-) ?

I did a 2010 F150 XLT a while ago.  No Auto Headlights or Factory Alarm.   Used a (+) Parking Light output from the remote starter to the SJB, Gray 13 Pin Plug ( Plug E ), Violet/White wire at Pin 6.  The Plug is second from top on right side of SJB.
Soldering is fun!

They are easy to repair, I hope you did not have to purchase one.

Take the assembly apart and look for a tiny burnt trace on the board.  Once you find it, take a tiny piece of wire, an old IDE hard drive ribbon cable is a great candidate.  Strip the insulation off of a piece of it a few inches longer than you need, Twist the wires really tight and tin them with some solder.  Solder the end of the wire to the trace, lay the wire across to the other end of the trace and solder it to that piece.  Cut the excess wire and call it a day.

I have repaired one of these for every stereo shop in town.  The primary cause of this has been applying the wrong polarity.
