Ok, Im currently installing a Compustar alarm in my car and ive hit an issue. Ive got everything hooked up right but when I went to connect the green wire to the ignition wire, I heard the brain click. I noticed when I put my key into the ignition, the key chime was going off like the key was already in the ignition position. I took the Green wire down and when its disconnected, its reading 12v already. Im pretty sure that it shouldnt be throwing 12volts on its own like that. Does anyone have any suggestions why it could be doing this?
