hi

could someone give me advise please

i have a vw golf convertible 1999

i would like to fit this alarm LF-Q025A

what is the best way to do it for the wiring on the car

on my car when you lock the door with key everything locks down when you fit the alarm you only need to connect to one wire?you don't need to go one door at a time?

also i have a micro-wave sensor how do you fit that in the car?the red light has to face inside the cabin area?

any advise would be grear before i start to cut wires

many thanks

My advice from your questions would be to seek a competent installer.
The 99 Cab is a hybrid of Mk lV bodywork with Mk lll electrics, as an installer for over 30 years I wouldn't make any comments about this vehicle till I could have a look, e.g. Mk lll uses pos pulse lock/unlock triggers, Mk lV negative.
The lock control for the first is in the car, the second in the door, etc. etc.
Microwave no problem it's the preferred method for convertibles,
what the hell is a LF-Qo25A? Some Chinese POS? If so bin it.

I've just looked at the specs on this alarm, bin it! The by-pass for your immobiliser (if you want it to work as an R/Start) will cost more than this POS.
No reputable installer will touch it.

Sorry, you were referring to total or comfort close, yes any decent alarm will do that for your car.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
