So I got a viper 5301 on ebay for $90 and I figured I would try to install it myself. I am fairly electrically knowledgeable, but the install guide is kind of difficult for me to understand. The H3 harness has 8 pins:
1 (+) ignition 1 input/output
2 (+) fused (30A) ignition 2 / flex relay input 87
3 (+)accessory output
4 (+)starter output
5 (+) fused (30A) ignition 1 input
6 (+) ignition 2 / flex relay output 30
7 (+)flex relay input 87A key side (if required) of flex relay
8 (+) fused (30A) accessory/starter input
And the jeep harness has 4 pins
1 12v
2 starter
3 ignition
4 constant
What do I splice and what do I cut? maybe I'm thinking about this too hard. Thanks for your help!

I feel like an idiot now. I really was thinking too hard. It was as simple as splicing H3-2 H3-5 and H3-8 to 12v+ and starter to starter, and so on and such forth. The wiring charts are great guys! thanks!
