Put a Ultra Start 1272 and XK01 in a 2005 GMC Denali. As with many other GM trucks made the usual connections. Truck starts and run for about 15 seconds and shut off. Using tachless mode and also I get a ABS light when in remote start. Did not power the brown wire at first so I connected to the brown and no change. I read the small orange in the harness may have to be powered also??? Any ideas guys.. Thanks in advance....

Power it and see what happens. Won't hurt to try, if it doesn't come off, then you can post.

It's not a small orange wire, it's the same size as the rest of the ignition wires. You can get the tach right on the back of the cluster if you want to try that...

for the truck shutting off after 15 seconds it will do that on just about any GM truck that doesnt have the brown wire connected (with a relay).

also, may be a dumb question but did you program the passlock code for the XK01?
