2008 ford super duty alarm/remote start -- posted image. Ford "Gold" Alarm/Remote Start Help needed
I understand that these units have two(2) auxillary outputs to be commanded by the buttons one(1) and two(2) respectively from the six button remote. Currently Ford has my number one(1) output connected to the headlamps which is what I wanted. The number two(2) output doesn't appear to be connected to anything. Has anyone or does anyone know how to connect this auxillary output to control the powerscope mirror fold command ? That would be AWESOME.
I have ZERO paperwork from the alarm/remote install so I have no way of consulting the instruction manual and unfortunately I cannot seem to locate one. Even then I don't know that that alone would suffice as I would still need to trace and locate the "trigger" wire for the fold command.
ALL help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,
for the alarm/remote start look here: http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/GfaWeb/techSpecs.do
select Installation Instructions, then Electronics, then
Remote Start/ Vehicle Security Systems-Truck.
You can then pull up the info for your model year. other vehicles, such as the Expedition/Navigator have optional features. memory seats, power liftgate, rear defroster to name a few.
The module programming instructions are also available.
As for the power mirror fold, check the gray/brown at the mirror switch.
should be a ground signal.

found the instruction and found the trigger wire for the "options" such as power lift gate and/or rear defroster which are supposed to be ground trigger wire. My issue is that pressing the aux2 button on my remote gives NO output at all. Is there some programming required to enable aux2 output ?
