I bought 2 autopage c3 rs 730 alarms to install on my vehicles and figured I would first start on my 2000 Nissan altima. I downloaded wiring diagram for my car and began the installation. I will not be doing a remote start on this vehicle. I have installed stereos, amps, processors etc. for many years, but I am a newB when it comes to alarms. This is what I have done so for:
Connected
12v input 20a fused (x2)
ignition 1 output
ignition 2 output
ACC/heater output
system main ground
lock/unlock pulse (x2)
siren output
door pin trigger to dome light
all modules: led, antenna, shock sensor, valet switch.
Problems:
1. I cannot program (learn) the remotes (LCD/ standard) to the alarm. I followed the instructions on manual (1. On/off 3 times stay in ON position. 2. Valet 2 pushes hold on 2 release button when long chirp. 3. Press/hold button on remote untill chirp.)
I never get the chirp and exits out after 15 seconds with 3 chirps.
I called tech support and they said it could be the antenna. Well I tried a new antenna from the second alarm I purchased and the antenna wire and no difference.
Any suggestions?
Are any diodes needed on this install?
I could not get my parking lights to flash, so I disconnect them, but I would like to know how to wire my hazard lights instead? My car's factory remote lock/unlock flashes the hazard lights and I would like this alarm to be the same way.
Please help me finish this install, so I can enjoy the rest of my spring break ;)

I got the remotes programed! But now I no longer have door lock. Neither driver/passenger side door lock switch work nor remote from alarm. The unlock feature works on all 3, but lock feature does not. Also I don't believe I have a factory alarm. I checked all fuses (engine bay/below steering wheel) all are good. I think maybe a relay is bad.
Any suggestions at all?

i would first test the lock wire and check to make sure it isnt cut where you made the connections. if your not doing remote start you dont need the ign2 wire or acc wire. if your using the domelight for the door trigger instead of individual wires you will need to set it for a 45 sec delay so you dont get the door error chirp and remember if your switch on the domelight is ever turned off instead of on door if someone opens your door your alarm will not go off. parking lights are in the steering column RED / blue they are a positive trigger so make sure that you have the red wire and the RED / white connected to constant 12v. there should be a fuse that control the locks but it might not be labeled so you might want to test the fuses too. otherwise you might want to look into the possibility that you messed up the smart entrance module. best thing i can suggest is get out your multi meter and start testing

Awesome hydrodancer! I tested with a DMM the RED / blue wire for parking lights and hooked it up the way you suggested. It worked! I also found the door trigger wires on the smart entrance module and dioded them to the door trigger wire on alarm. This works a lot better than hooking up to dome light.
I check all fuses again and they appear fine, but still no door lock on alarm remote or door switches. I tested the wires on smart entrance module and I got (RED / blue wire) 12v at rest and 0v when I press lock button on Nissan factory remote (this remote functions properly locks/unlocks doors).
I believe this wire is (door lock motor). Can I hook this wire up to (ground output when armed (-) 200mA) from alarm? Maybe with a relay?

Instructions on how to wire door lock motor (12v rest, 0v activated) with relay to alarm arm (-) 200 mA? I read "relay diagrams" on this website, but still need a little help.
Please help I am driving this car out of town Friday afternoon.
