2004 Jeep grand cherokee freedom edition
Cm 3000 2w900fm antenna
After my vehicle has started the hazards will start going off. At first I thought this problem was caused by my factory alarm since the diagrams that I took from here said there was a factory alarm installed. After not being able to locate the wire and more digging I found that my vehicle's only safety system is the Sentra Key. (I think)
Back to the problem, when I put me key in and in the on position the lights will still blink. The only way to stop the blinking is to tap the brake. There is no horn or siren going off during all of this. I am able to start the jeep and put in start mode and pull the keys out and the system will still blink.
Thanks to anyone that can help.

The CM3000 Install guide found in the Downloads section does not show a Programming Option for Steady / Blinking Parking Light output.  If you have the install guide for the CM3000 that is installed in your Jeep, check to see if there is an option like that listed.  If there is no option for that....

Were the Parking lights working properly during remote start and this a new problem?

Did you install this system?

It could be that the CM3000 Parking Light output is connected to the hazard warning lights  instead of the Jeeps' Parking Lights.  ( Jeeps can be problematic to control the Parking Lights and a special relay / resistor circuit can be required. )  Locate the the CM3000 and check to see where the thick GREEN / WHITE wire from CN1 Pin2 goes.  Also check to see where the thin GREEN / WHITE wire from CN2 Pin1 goes.  That will help isolate the problem.  Search this site for prior posts on this subject ( 2004 Jeep G.C. Parking Lights).

Was installed in wifes 2000 grand am. We have not had a remote for over a year before installing in the jeep but last time we had a working remote the lights worked right.
As per every guide I have found it wants you to tap into the hazard light:
PARKING LIGHTS (-) DK. BLUE/PINK (Hazard lights) Harness At Steering Column
This was attached to Cn2 pin 1. Jeeps have a neg output so CN1 Pin 2 is taped off and goes to nothing.
Did some searching but will search again. Thanks you.

If it is connected to the hazzard light wire, that is why it is blinking.  There are several ways to connect the CM3000 to the Jeeps parking lights so it doesn't blink during remote start.

Here is the suggestion from Bulldog Security :  http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagrams/extrainfo/diagrams/14301_GRAND-CHEROKEE_GRAND%20CHEROKEE%20PARKING%20LIGHT%20DIAGRAM.pdf

Here is the Audiovox method :

Parking Lights     YELLOW  (-)       AT VEHICLE LIGHT SWITCH
PARKING LIGHTS REQUIRE A NEGATIVE TRIGGER THRU A 1300 OHM RESISTOR.
YOU MUST USE A RELAY TO ISOLATE AWAY FROM THE SWITCH.

Using the CM3000 (+) Parking Light output, wire a relay as follows :

Relay Pin 85 to Chassis Ground
Relay Pin 86 to CM3000 CN1 Pin2 GREEN / WHITE
Relay Pin 30 to Jeep Yellow Parking Light - Cut side to vehicle            \     You must cut the Jeeps' Yellow
Relay Pin 87A to Jeep Yellow Parking Light - Cut side to light switch  /      wire and connect the relays' wires.
Relay Pin 87 to Chassis Ground thru 1300 Ohm resistor

You guys rock thank you.
I have two accessory power wires coming out of my ignition. Can I take the white accessory wire off CN1 and connect into both accessory wires in my jeep?

No it has to be separated via a relay.

Sorry here's how:
White from CN1 to ACC1, loop back to relay 86
Status output (GWR) wire to 85
Constant 12V+ fused at 30 amps to 87
30 to ACC 2
If the GWR wire is being used for anything else Y shape diode out using 2 x 1N4004 diodes, bands (cathodes) towards the CM 3000.
Use another diode, the same across the coil terminals, 85 and 86, band towards 86.
The manufacturer runs 2 ACC wires for good reason, it's much safer top emulate the manufacturer.

Ok. Just to make sure, my diagram says the status output is a (-) trigger (CN2 Pin2). This is the proper status output right?
That wire is not being used for anything else. Do I still need to diode isolate the 85 and 86 terminals?

Yes, it protects your unit from the relay shut down spike.
