I have a problem with one of my remotes - APS2K4SAW. Recently the light is constantly on, but it looks like the remote still works. I'm not using it however, because I'm worried that the light will drain the battery, and one day I won't be able to open my car. So I removed the battery, put everything on a shelf as a "backup", and I'm using the other remote... Is there a way to fix/diagnose the problem? Or should I look for another remote?

Did the remote recently get dropped into liquid?

No, it didn't. I know how important they are, so I take a good care of them.

First (couple days ago) the light was constantly blinking, and when I put a battery yesterday (before I started this post) the light was on (solid).
