first alarm, 95 olds silhouette

this is my first time trying to install an alarm i figured out most of it but have encoutered a few problems wondering if anyone had some pointers the vehicle is a 95 olds silhouette and the alarm is a arctic start 1wam(as) if my van has no hood pin switch what would be the better wire to run my hood pin to

Most kits include a hood pin switch.    Usually Compustars have a hood pin input called  (-) Hood Input.  On the CM4200 it's a Grey/Black wire at CN3 Pin 2.  Can't see whick brain you have from the picture.

I prefer to use a mercury switch like the DEL 8613.  Not drilling and no rust.

after continuing my study on this alarm i finally relized it was talking a bout the hood pin with the kit but thanks alot

would you know where i would wire the (-) status out (GWR) to my van its with cn2 pin 2 and its a black wire

95 olds silhouette auto trans trying to install a arctic start 1wam(AS) the brain box is a cm3000vf working with cn2 pin 2 black wire is this a necessary wire for my vehicle if so where does it hook up to

The (-) Status Output ( GWR ) is normally used for a bypass module.  Your vehicle does not require one because it does not have an ignition immobilizer.

thanks again i really appreciate it i think i have everything figured out now i believe i jus need to go get 2 blocking diodes for my door triggers and ill be ready to install
