Vehicle:

2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 6.6 Duramax Crew Cab base model with manual locks.

I purchase the Central Door Locking System type r bf-a.a.a. Below is the wiring diagram, however the kit they sent me has the 5 wires only at the passenger door and extra short brn and wh wire at the plug to the brain. I have not hooked these up at all and plan ground them out to the frame.

I have the kit in and operating-- but I need to know how to make all the actuators work backwards, the ony way I can fit them in the door is so that they pull/push backwards. There's no rook to put them in the way they wnat to work. How do I make the actuators do the opposite of what they are doing, ie unlock when I push lock and vice versa. Can I reverse the signal the key fob or get a learning remote fob and feed in the other frequency? What is the easiest way to do this. I appreciate any help.

T

Thanks,
Brent

First, do not ground the extra wires ( White and Brown ).  They should be insulated and left in case you want

to add a remote start system w/keyless entry or the like.

On the actuators were installed reversed ( solenoid in is locked, solenoid extended is unlocked  is normal), you

will need to open to door panels and reverse the Blue and Green wire connections ( Blue goes to Green, etc ).
On the five wire actuator(s), also reverse the White and Brown wires.

That will do it.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks so much, I actually have tried to reverse bl/gr but not bl/gr AND br/wh. Saved me a ton of time here and I appreciate it very much.

Thank you.

Thanks,
Brent
