Try this:

1 PINK (+) IGNITION 1                               To correct Pink IGN @ Ign harness - there are 2 Pink wires...

2 RED / WHITE                                              Not Used  **
3 ORANGE ACCESSORY OUTPUT       To Brown ACC @ Ign harness
4 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT           To cut Yellow - car side
5 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT               To cut Yellow - Key side
6 RED (+) FUSED (30A)                            To +12v constant
7 PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2                  Not Used  **
8 PINK/BLACK FLEX RELAY                     Not Used
9 RED / BLACK FUSED (30A)                     To +12v constant

Audiovox lists an IGN2 wire, White at ignition switch harness.  If you locate and verify this wire, then

connect the **RED / White wire to +12v constant and the **Pink/White wire to the White IGN2 wire.

Did you also install a bypass module?

Soldering is fun!

What didn't work?  There are a lot of things going on and several areas of possible problems.

Is the Neutral Safety Switch plugged in and connected properly?

If the 5601 is Manual Trans capable, did you change the programming to Auto Trans?   ( Sorry, don't have a 5601 install guide...)

Is the bypass module setup and connected properly?

Did you set it up to run in Tach mode?

Are there any LED error blinks from the Viper of "Security" type lights on the instrument panel?

What happens with a remote start attempt with the key in the ignition, but not turned?

The list goes on...

Soldering is fun!
