I finally got time to install my Clifford Avantguard 4, this is my first install and I have a few questions. First, the alarm came with about 20 diodes, but the instructions only tell you where to use 2 of them. I am pretty sure you use them when adding the alarm wire to a circuit that has an indicator, that way it won't blow out the light. Is this correct? Second, should all of the accessory wires to power the heater and ac come from the ignition? My 97 Supra TT 6-speed has 2 ignition wires but no heater/ac wires by the ignition. The alarm wires that go to these wires do the same thing, atleast that is what I think, they are for the remote start.

are they diodes or resistors?? the resistors can be used for door locks and or remote starts. you shouldnt need them for your install.
if you are using a remote start feature, then use info above.
Good Luck
