Hey all. I have a top of the line Python 533 installed on my 03 Mustang GT. Was installed around November 2009. I have a few questions because I find different answers from car shops and people. This alarm has a bulkier 2 way remote. I want to get a newer one thats thin. Also lost the 1 way remote. My dash light that came with the alarm is no longer blinking. Added the window option where the windows roll up when I lock the car.

1. Can I add a newer 2 way remote to a older alarm and can Viper/Python parts be interchangeable

2. The shop said the window option will only roll the windows up. When I go to DEI's website. It says it rolls windows up and down or even vent. The shop said 2 different boxes are needed. Kinda like 1 box rolls up the next rolls down. And charge $200 for the 2 windows.

3. How can I troubleshoot this red light that came with the kit thats no longer blinking. I want to add a newer blue one to.

Thanks

Josh

for 2.

it sounds like they installed a 529t and want to add another to give you downing use.

look into the 530t. it is a single module does all of that plus adds one touch operations for both diections.
