I recently installed a remote start alarm in a 2010 nissan sentra. the sentra has the intelligent key option(as long as the key is in your pocket and the knob is turned the vehicle starts).
After installing the remote start and activating it i have a problem. the car does not recognize that the key has entered the vehicle and won't allow the knob to turn. i have to press the break or deactivate the remote start and insert the key in the ignition to turn the knob, car on and drive off. I hope someone has the answer.
i used the DEI DBALL as the bypass and flashed it with the 401.niss02_1.02 firmware.

Does the DB-ALL have you interrupt an ignition wire at the Intelligent Key module behind the glove box?
Go to either idatalink.com or flashlogic.com and look up an install guide for your car. You want the install guide for either an idatalink ADS-AL-CA or a Flashlogic FL-CAN.
You'll see the interrupt with a relay behind the glove box. That's what allows the Intelligent Key to work during remote start. I've only done one car this way, and it sure was a bit of extra work, but the customer did like it.
You might be able to leave the DB-ALL in place and then go an interrupt that wire......or you may have to remove it and actually put the other module in....can't hurt to try.

I believe and correct me if i'm wrong Chris but the keysense wire has to be energized during remote start for it to work?
