I have a 2002 impala with a clifford 770 alarm and intellistart remote start that I installed on my car using the GMDLBP to bypass the passlock II. The problem I have is when I installed and programmed this bypass my engine was warm and started with a quick crank. Now that "quick crank" setting is programmed into the bypass. In the mornings when my engine is cold from overnight sitting it takes a little longer crank to start. I want to know how can I reset and reprogram this GMDLBP bypass so it uses the little longer cranking cycle to start the car at all times. I know everything with the remote start and bypass module is functioning as programmed, it just needs new programming and I have looked for a way to reset this bypass but to much no avail. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The GMDLBP bypass  module only performs the Passlock2 bypass function on your 2002 Impala.  It has nothing to do with the Tach signal or the remote starters use of the Tach signal.  I am not familiar with the Clifford unit, but it sounds like your problem lies with the Clifford 770.  Is there a way for the Clifford 770 to re-learn the Tach signal?

Soldering is fun!

Yes, I can re-learn the tach input signal of the intellistart unit. I didn't even think of that option. I will give that a try and post back to let you know the results. Thanks for your input.

Between the door trigger and the power supply.
I've had Clifford products for the last 20 years including on Hondas, my last Mitsubishi had LEDs set into the ceiling working off the dome light with no problems.
Personally my advice would be to bin that unknown POS and get something like a Viper 1004.
