I have installed a few Autopage Remote Starts. My last one was about three years ago and I know things change. So I am looking for some recomendations on a remote start unit for a 95 Park Avenue. I would like to be able to start it with an iphone, but am not sure about paying monthly fees for the privilege. My vehicle uses passkey so I would like something that uses d2d connectors. I do a whole lot with vehicle electrical trouble shooting and repair so doing the install for me will be pretty easy, but I want something that is easy to program. I also dont want to have a bunch of unnecessary connections to make. (Like a wire to the ebrake for example). I definately want it to have two way communications through remote.
Any recommendations of mfr and model number would be appreciated. Also, please let me know if it can be started by iphone.

Ok, here's a non-DEI SmartStart DIY suggestion.

Compustar CM6200               Basic remote starter with keyless entry.     ~ $60

Compustar RF-2WG5-SH     2 Way remote with 3000' range                    ~ $80
Fortin Passlock-SL2               VATS bypass module                                     ~ $30
DEI 451M                                  Type A (+) Door Locks                                    ~ $10
Compustar DR-1000             DroneMobile GPS & cell phone control       ~ $250

The DroneMobile is optional and can be added on at a later date.  The first years basic service is included in the price ( can be increased, depending on usage ).  GPS tracking extra.  The DroneMobile info states that it can be DIY installed and initialized.  SmartStart is pretty much authorized dealer only.

D2D connections on the bypass only saves 3 wires.  Don't see any modules that handle the locks, alarm or trunk, so all of that has to be hard wired anyway.

Soldering is fun!
