Hi there brothers I'am interested in turning one of the existing buttons in my car into an ignition button. I know that I cant easily go completely keyless but I want to make a hybrid.. I am new to car electric except for minor audio but I have the ability to learn quickly.. Im an IBEW inside wireman apprentice and hVe a good understanding of basic electrical theory, just not very strong in mobile electronics. I want to use my legend as a project car.
first off I would like to turn an existing button into an ignition switch. I would like to make it completely keyless by adding three switches to simulate the key turning from positions "I" to "II" to "III". I want to hide the switches in a secret compartment. I need to know how I can make this work any help is greatly appreciated

The reason I mentioned above about it not being completely keyless and more of a "hybrid" is because I still want the key ignition to work normally.
