Hi everyone,

I know this topic was posted awhile back and Ironically by a member (chrisheg60) from the same country and province as I'm in, but I've just encountered almost a similiar problem with my compustar remote start.

I have a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan and everything has been working fine (4 years and counting) up until tonight when I decided to test the command start for the wife since the snow and cold weather is gonna fly here quite soon. Vehicle starts fine with the key, but when trying to start with the remote start, the vehicle will attempt to start then die. It attempts this 3 times then shuts down.  I've read through the other topic and tried resetting the tach by pushing the black button at the back of the brain when at an idle, checked the hood pin and all lights on the vehicle work fine, even disconnected the battery.

One thing (actually 2) things I'm seeing is that the theft light is flashing when trying to remote start it, as well as I'm getting an obd code of p0513 on my odometer after I tried to reprogram the remote.

Any suggestions and thanks in advance for any help.

if the theft light is flashing..your bypass module isn't working.
