I am installing this in my truck, I have the installation manual and I'm following it as best as I can. When it comes to the 20 pin wire connector (H6), there are some parts that are a little confusing.
H6/20– (-) 200mA Grounded Output When Armed –
This wire will become grounded when the alarm is armed. The current capacity of this wire is 200mA. This output can control starter disable, when an intrusion is detected and the system is triggered. The vehicles prevent from any unauthorized starting. -- Do I need to do this?
Also, I have used this to help determine the wires I need to tap, but it doesn't say anything about VATS
(If the vehicle has the General Motor VATS system installed, you will need to by-pass the system while the vehicle is operating under the control of the Remote Start Unit.)
Unless it's: Factory Disarm     Tan      Keyless Entry right of Column
Thank you for answering my questions.

Ground while armed can be used for start kill relay. It is not required for normal operation.

Does your key look like this?

If so you have vats. There will be an orange sleeve with 2 VERY small wires inside. Measure the resistance on that "chip" indicated in the photo above, find a resistor to match as close as possible. Then cut one of the 2 white wires (doesnt matter which one) and tape up the key side. Then jump from the cut car side WITH THE RESISTOR INLINE  to the other uncut wire for a permanent bypass, or use a relay activated by your Ground While Running signal. Google for a proper diagram on that.

To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*
