OK so i have just sold one of my cars that had a Clifford Concept 650MK2 with all the toys (avantguard 5.5 system) prior to selling i ahve removed the alarm and labelled up all black wires as to where they came from with new tags and clear heath-shrink.
The car which i would like to install it in is exactly the same type of car so also made a note of existing wire colours for most parts.
Problem i have is the new car as a old concept 650 1st gen on it. would you guys suggest i put the cars wiring back to standard before trying to install the new alarm or to try and cross match from each alarm wiring ?
i have a few days off work to get my new car up to scratch but thought i would ask for input from the regulars on this
Cheers
Andrew

OK so i have just finished preparing the alarm for refit,
all cables have been re labeled
new fuse holders placed on the looms
All cables dressed to allow easy install main harness including intelistart been extended.
one cable that i seem to have misplaced the label for which is the BLACK/ white pin17 on h1 harness.
i cant actually remember removing this wire interior (illumination output)
What doesn't make sense is the other WHITE/ black located on pin18 was and still is pared with (H14 green door trigger) but this would put these 2 wires the wrong way round as per the manual
any ideas guys ?

OK alarm removed from car and refitted with new concept 650 mk2 with all the trimmings.
everything working fine and all done in a few hours every connection soldered and heatshrunk any joints to existing cables were not spliced but cut and then rejoined to allow me to heatshrink everything...
only problem i have which has transferred from one car to the other is a very short crank time its about a second i need it to be about 2 seconds
how do i up this ?
Cheers

any advance on this the only way i know off is connecting it to the cliff net wizard but i understand there are horror stories of the main brain going bye bye if you do etc
The crank time seemed enough on the old car due to it being a NA Car this being a turbo take a smidge longer to start only about a second if that :(
