Hello, I have a 99 tahoe. Alarm is an Autopage C3-RS-730 remote start.
When initializing remote start, vehicle will crank, and actually fire and run but for only a second, then it will shut down.
When I use autopage shutdown diagnostics, the error code I get is #3: no rpm/low voltage.
I have gone through the RPM learning process without any errors (parklights flash and confirmation beeps)
I am running a wire off of the coil (white wire) all references say this is the wire to use. However when I test the voltage at this wire while engine running it is higher than the 1-6 volts that manual states should come from the correct tach signal wire. However there are only two other wires at the coil (pink and WHITE/ black)
I have also installed ignition (2) and ignition (3) wires in case this is the problem.
Do I need to connect at the tach side of this wire in order to get the correct read from this wire? And why is the alarm learning the rpm but shutting down vehicle during start?
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks.

Are you sure it is not the antitheft kicking in? How did you bypass the passlock.

Thank you lspker! I did not bypass the passlock. I will do so, and inform the outcome on this post.
Thanks again!
