Hey guys,
I will be installing my wiper 5902 on my 06 lexus IS 350 tomorrow, and I have a question regarding my lock/unlock wires.   If either of the wires receives a continuous ground they will roll the windows up or down, respectively. My question is this, I want to hook up one of my aux inputs to roll the windows up, and another one to roll them down, do I need to diode seperate the aux inputs when I hook them up to the lock and unlock wires?

In theory you should add one 530t per pair of windows wired to each motor to give you what you want.
In fact on some Lex.,e.g. the RX models, you can extend the lock pulse (comfort control on the 5902 programming) to give you close, add a timed aux linked to unlock for wind down, you need to test.

Howie,
Why is it necessary to install two 530T modules if the car already has the function of rolling the windows up or down with an extended pulse on the lock and unlock wires? I installed two 530T modules on my last car, it was quite a bit of work since I had to go into each door and I would like to avoid it if possible... Can I use my bitwriter to just program the comfort control like you mentioned above?

Read my second line I already mentioned that but you will have to test to make sure, yes you can option comfort control with or without the bitwriter.

oh ok i see what you were saying now. So what if I wanted to link the rolling up function to the arm command, would it set off the alarm if i held down the arm button to roll up the windows?

Not if you program comfort control, being doing this trick since 91 on BMW and Mercedes.
FYI. Settle times on DEI product.(i.e. time to become active after arming)
Trunk and hood immediately.
Volume sensors such as shock, prox, 4 seconds.
Doors, 10 seconds.

Howie,
I just finished my install earlier today, and everything went good as far as the remote start and lock/unlock and windows go, but I am having a weird issue with the shock sensor that came with my viper. I thought my unit was a 5902, which I had installed before several times, as well as several 5901 units but instead it is a 5904 unit. On the 5904 unit the shock sensor comes with a four wire harness and one of the wires is not attached to anything, it is a green wire hanging free from one end of the harness. I am guessing it needs to be hooked up somewhere because the shock sensor is not functioning correctly.   I tried turning up the sensitivity on using the bitwriter and by manually turning it up on the potentiometer inside the sensor, and it still will not set off the alarm for some reason.   Do you know what that extra green wire needs to go?
Thanks

The 5904 as far as I know is a brand new product, new Molex connector combination and a new 2 way remote.
Ref the green wire, join the green to the blue.

Yea I believe it is brand new, do you have access to the DEI network to get the actual install manual for it? I would like to take a look at it.

5 minutes then look at Viper 5904 under Downloads/Manuals.
