I do dealer work now and use DEI vital 4113 for most installs. I like the compustar. The 601s is a good unit for my needs but does not do 2 way RS232 or blade nor drone. If I go up to the 6200 brain- my only complaint is the external relay for either second gin, acc etc. That makes the install a little more sloppy.
What does everybody do?
I could also use audiovox units- make recommendation.

all the new 1wbam ship with the cm6200. the older model ships with cm5200.the cm5x00 and cm6x00 all have RS232 and support drone/datalink.i install 95% compustar 5% viper.
if you can stock or get a hold of the 4x00 or 5x00 series brain, that supports datalink rs232, blade and the drone.

I do 100% compustar. Very rarely do you need a 2ign anymore with all the mux.
The new 1bam are push and hold just like they were 2 years ago.

bingo, nothing changed on them besides the design of the remote, from rubber to some plastic/metal look.
