I am installing a Compustar Drone Mobile DR-2000 with a existing compustar ft6200 controller.  I bought a dr-1000 but was sent the dr-2000.  I cannot find alot of information on this module.  I have a couple questions before I get started.  First is the manual says I need to make sure I have the latest firmware on the module.  Considering the controller is at least a year old and this module just came out I say I am outdated on the firmware.  How do I update the 6200 module?  I have the old 1100f bypass module so I cannot update through the blade module without buying one.  Second is connecting it to the controller.  Do you just simply connect it with the rs232 connection on the supplied harness?  These questions will get me started.

the cm6200 does have a software update, but it's not required you run the newest software.
the cm6200 can only be updated with a blade module installed, and you have to own an iDatalink ADS-USB. then can you flash the brain for an update.
And yes, just make the rs232 and that's it. you can hardwire it, but if you just want to slap it in and make it work, the rs232 is the quickest route.

Ok.  Well i will go ahead and give it a try.  I just wanted to make sure everything was good to go because the manual pretty much says you have 20 min to activate the dr-2000 before you have to have tech support reset everything.
