I'm having an issue with installing an Avital 3001 in my 2010 A6. I can't seem to get the system to learn then unlock wire. Has anyone done this install, and if so, what wire should I be connecting to in order to program the alarm correct. The wires I'm using are from a wiring diagram that I got from directed. The wires say that the connections should be driver lock and driver unlock motor wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The lock/unlock wire is the same and it's PURPLE / red found in the drivers door control module and it's a resistor based system meaning u have to measure the resistance for lock and unlock and use the correct resistors .

So it's almost 3months later and I still am having issues with this Audi. If anyone has had experience with an avital 3001l Oem integration alarm, please let me know. I'm stuck with the programming portion of the alarm. It allows me to program arm, but not disarm. If I switch wires, then it programs disarm and not arm. Please help!!! Using the lock and unlock motor wires like dei says to use.

that system uses varying resistance on the lock/unlock. Cut your losses and buy yourself an evo-can for 70bucks. It will do more than door locks. such as triggers, trunk, hood, tach etc.
