Vehicle is a 2011 Express Van, base model with no power options.

Unit is an autopage rs-665 2w with i data link CAN module.

Issue I am having is the unit will not detect the door opening while system is armed. If i forget to lock the door by hand, arm the system. Then open the door the alarm will not trigger.

I  have module flashed in 2way idata mode which monitors doors. Did not trigger so i hard wired the green (-) trigger from alarm to BCM. Still does not recognize when door is open. Re flashed module and un checked all the options except brake status and pk3 bypass. opening door still doesnt trigger alarm.

Hooked up the purple (+) to dome supervision and still have the same issue. The thing that gets me though, if i have the door open and arm the system it says door is open... but if i shut the door, arm it, open door i get nothing. I have my meter hooked up and the door pin wire goes to ground and soon as i open door so i know i have correct wires.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Some alarms take about 30 seconds to fully arm. Are you opening the door right away or giving it time?

Waited for about 10 minutes, changed to 45 second ajar chirp and still same issue. Pretty much tried everything I can think of.

Test the door pin input directly at the unit and make sure that it is getting to the connector. Where is the unit grounded? Do you have power at all 12v constant inputs; including the smaller gauge red in the main harness (if applicable; not sure if that unit has it or not)?
Something else to help check is to temporarily connect either the hood or trunk pin input to the vehicle door pin wire (can just attach a jumper for test purposes)

what you should do program the module to hardwire mode. test the analog door trigger output off the module and see if it works. Should be the yellow/black wire. If works off the module then the data communication off the autopage alarm is not working. if it doesn't work in that mode either then that vehicle may be a basic version of the express van that doesn't provide door status through the obd connector.
