i am new at installing remote starters, i put a remote start on a 05 corolla, i used an excalibur rs-330-edpb and used the blade al.  the remote start worked good but i could not get the door locks to work with the remote start key pad.  the stock key pad worked for the door locks,  but it didnt work when i started the car with the remote starter.  also the car ran a little rough when i put it in gear im not sure if that was from the remote start or if the car was cold it has 125,000 miles on it.  thanks for any help.

yeah i just used the blade al because they had it in another vehicle that they were selling so they wanted me to take it out of that vehicle and put it in the corolla.  but i cant get the door locks to work,  the remote start works fine.  im not sure if it has anything to do with child safety locks.  thanks for any help.

W2W on the door locks, no big deal. Do you need key sense during the R/S to make the factory fobs work?

i installed a remote start on a 05 corolla it works fine but the door locks dont work,  the remote start is a excalibur rs-330-edpb with blade al.  does the child safety lock have to be hooked up to make the door locks work?  if so do they make a hook up for that or do i have to hook up diodes and relays to make it work?  thanks.
