2004 pontiac bonneville remote start

i am going to be installing a remote start in a 2004 bonneville, i will be using an excalibur rs-330-edpb.  which bypass module should i use?  and also on the wiresheet website it shows note #239 for the immobilizer bypass which looks a little confusing where it says to wrap the wire around the ignition and the key,  will i have to do this?  thanks for any help.Doug

I prefer idatalink bypasses. If you get the ADS-ALSL GM or ADS-ALSL GM1 you will have full data control of the bypass. This will incorporate the locks, door triggers, rear defrost, tach, etc as well as the immobilizer (what you saw) and will make the install a lot easier.Kenny

Since you picked up the EDPB, get the Blade module for it. You would have less to hide. For full feature go with the iDatalink ADS-Blade-AL (OmegaLink OL-Blade-AL) or for immobilzer bypass only use the ADS-Blade-TB (OL-Blade-TB). With the bypass module or Blade, you do not need to worry about tech tip #239. It is only required if you are going to sacrifice a key and use the last ditch method on this vehicle.This information is provided only as a reference.
