I have the CM3 series.
What are the differences besides the CM3 being a lot larger than the op500 ?

Cm3 can only program options 1-1 to 1-7 and 2-1 to 2-10
Op500 can program a whole hell of a lot more
Suggest you pony up the 50 bucks and invest in op500 if you wanna every change poc's

The op599 kit comes with the 6to4pin harness, 4 pin harness for updates, adsusb and the y cable. This is if you buy the entire kit, if not you only have the programmer and the 4pin harness or ycable

iDatalink on-line programming of the Compustar unit while flashing the Blade module does not offer any programming changes to the Special Option Groups ( POC's).  You will still need the OP-500 for that.
Soldering is fun!
