When using the remote to start, it starts but for some reason the horn (panic?) goes off too but no siren. I try to stop by using the correct button on the remote for panic but it does not stop.

you're setting off the factory alarm on the vehicle.
you need to connect the compustar disarm output to the vehicle disarm wire.

The lights flash too...
Just checked, according to all the wiring diagrams there is no factory arlam for me to connect the disarm output to?

There is an domelight override on the light switch. When this switch is turned on, the courtesy light do not come on either. To insure proper protection of the doors, you will need to go directly to the Body Control Module located behind the dash in front of the center console. There you can find a TAN(driver's door), ORANGE(passenger door), BLUE/WHITE(rear doors) and PINK/BLACK (hatch). These wires are not affected by the override switch.
