I installed a galaxy 5000RS remote start/keyless entry on a 04 chevy blazer about 2 years ago the customer called me to tell me that when she remote starts the truck & then take over with rhe key, sometimes while driving it seems like the truck wants to start again. She says if she remote start the truck & let it timeout or stop it before she gets in to start it with the key that it doesn't do it, only when she takes over with the key. This has never happen to me before, have any of you guys experience this or even heard of this happening ? What should I check ?

How is she stopping / shutting it down? First thing I would check is your brake wire connection. If the brake wire signal is not getting to the unit then it wouldn't shut down during key take-over.

The remote start stops once she steps on the brake with the key take-over process and drives normal except that it trys to start while the car is still running. I ask if it does after a certain amount of time after diving & she says it happens at different times but if she turns the truck off then just start it with the key it doesn't happen. When she brings it in I'll check check the brake wire connection like you said.

Also make sure the WHITE/ blue activation wire isn't grounding out on something. Where do you have the unit grounded?

Check to make sure that metal brace is welded or at least bolted directly on the sides. I had a couple cars that were bolted at the sides, but there was rubber between the bracing and the actual chassis.... so what I thought was a solid ground wasn't a ground at all. Not sure if thats the same in your case, but I almost always go low in the driver's kick for ground.

ok thanks I'll do that. You think a bad ground can be causing the car to start while it is running ?

A bad ground can cause a ton of odd-ball issues. I can't say for sure it is your problem here, but its something to look into.
If that doesn't do it, and you can duplicate what is happening, put a DMM on the vehicle's start wire and see what readings you get. Then disconnect the violet start wire from the remote start and test that wire (while disconnected) to see if it is sending a start signal.

the internal start relay could be going bad over time.  Check to se if the unit is in a auto start mode or timed remote start.

She says that she can't bring in the truck to next week but also mentioned that just before it happens the security light starts flashing.
