03 Honda CRV- Avital 4103 and ads dlsl ha

Installed above and can’t get the ignition controlled lock/unlock (menu 1 feature 2&3) to work. It is a feature I like and have had it on several other installs.

When installing above, I could not get the ADS door lock data to work. Thought I had the right wire but must not have, so I disconnected it and went to the traditional driver kick wires.

Otherwise, followed both manuals and everything else works as it should. So the ADS does the bypass and the dei does everything else.

When I try to program for ignition controlled lock/unlock and advance through the options, I always get two beeps, even if I should be on option one, and therefore only get one beep.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you are getting to the right menu?

Ignition on then off...press and hold the program button until the LED blinks once and horn honks once...release the button..press the button two times and release, then press and hold..the LED should flash twice for the feature 2... use the remote to change the option.

Not sure what you mean when you say.. I always get two beeps, ..............and therefore only get one beep.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

When you get into the menu option for the ignition controlled locks, you should be pressing the lock button to choose option 1. It won't advance through by pressing unlock. Its lock for option 1, unlock for option 2, button 3 for option 3, etc.

Thanks guys . . . it was operator error.

Smokeman1, What I meant about two beeps vs. one beep is a result of my not knowing it is lock for option 1, unlock for option 2.

Kenny, thanks for making that clear.

I kept pressing unlock only and so I always got 2 flashes / beeps. But then it never seemed to “take” even though I was looking for option 2. This time I went lock for 1 and then unlock for 2 and this then “took”.

Working fine now.

As always, I very much appreciate the help.
