I'm installing the Audiovox APS901C remote starter with the Honda SL3 bypass kit. Do I have to disarm the factory alarm prior to remote starting the vehicle? Its been a while so I wanted to double check.
Car is 2000 Acura 3.2 TL , I believe factory disarm is FACTORY ALARM DISARM     WHITE (-)     AT MODULE INSIDE DRIVERS DOOR
Thanks all.

Did you check for an alarm? If so then yes you have to disarm it before remote starting.

you can also disarm by setting the unit to unlock-start-relock, or get the disarm at the alarm module under passenger seat BLUE (-)
