So we put an Avital 5103 and DBALL into a 2012 Juke Smartkey. The installer who did the install chose to do D2D instead of W2W. The customer loved the fact that the factory fob/smart entry button on the door. Here's the issue. somehow the turn signals are activating the alarm and causing the siren to chirp repeatedly while they are turned on. This only occurs once the car has been driven to the point where the doors lock(I think once it goes over 15MPH). Once started via R/S or push-button you can use the turn signals all u want with no issues. Its only once the doors have locked. You can also press the lock button on the door to start this nightmare.

So far, I've relocated ground, connected the red and black power and ground wires used for hardwire connection as well as D2D power per DEI tech, & reflashed the DBALL, with no solution. Since everythings D2D, I really dont have anything to test/troubleshoot. Anyone have any kind of issues like this or have any other ideas? I know W2W would fix it but the customer demanded to have the factory fob control the alarm (that she didnt know anything about til we showed it to her)  and if it couldnt she wants her money back.

D2D is horrible for troubleshooting. You may be better off looking into either an idatalink or Fortin bypass to keep the customer happy. What did you connect for parking lights?

The parking lights are connected in the pass. kick panel. I disconnected them and it still did it. I always go to Idatalink stuff for push start vehicles, but  I didnt do the install. I'm worried about going to an ADS-AL-CA and having the factory fob control no longer be an option. Thats whats making this so hard. I wouldve switched to W2W and sent them on their way but I have to have that feature.

Yea, that's a tough call. It's tough to say what is causing the issue and sounds like it is something within the data. Where do you have everything grounded?

the DBALL is the worst module to use for the juke. i did one a while back and had nothing but problems. I took it out and replaced it with a fortin evoall. never saw the car again and worked flawlessly.
the ads-al-ca will also retain factory remote options, and the fortin will also but only across data.
