I just got done installing a python 1401 and I would like to provide some info!
You can get to most of the remote start wires by removing the panel next to the key!
You must install the xpresskit universal bypass by cutting the transponder wires as described in the manual under "will work on European" section and you MUST hook up the orange key sense wire (near key hole) to a + source. My violet wire on the bypass did not work for this.
You will have an issue with the keys conflicting some times! I get "start error" randomly now, but remote start always works. Key start gets errors randomly....good luck with this!
My paper work from audiovox tech services says the lock wires are green&pink and white located under the hood at the fuse box. Bad advice! I could not find them for the life of me!
Run the 2 wires into the center console! Use 2 T taps on the pink wire that's in the numbe 25 spot on the connector that locks down with a lever. Install a 470 ohm resister inline with the blue wire and then connect the green. You can get the resister at radio shack for $1.00!
Never found the break wire, there is no switch on my break that I can find. I had to run one from the back.
That's it!
I wanted to share this secret information because I could not find anything on the topics.
Enjoy, this install was hell for me....should be easy with this info.

Thanks, BUT there are are 2 x (-) wires for the locks both in the centre console AND the section at rear of engine bay fuse box.
It happens to have been variable over different years.
You can pick up the door triggers in the engine bay fuse box as well.
Did you really mean T taps? Ah well never mind.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
