viper 5901 on board acc , ign 2 relays

Does anyone know if the On-Board Accessory and IGN2 relays on the Viper 5901 cut power during the start-up phase? Reason I'm asking, my car (2011 Subaru Impreza) will cut ASSY and IGN2 during when turned to the start position(it's how the ignition cylinder is wired). I want to mimic this for the remote-start process as close as possible. I know how to do this with external relays, no big deal. But if the 5901 already does this from the factory, it would save me the time of having to hook up external relays. Thanks in advance

Definitely the ACC not sure about ign 2, why not test. The reason being that some Euros such as BMW, Peugeot etc. require ign 2 as live during cranking, they won't start without. If you program your ign 12 as ACC you get around it without the need for external relays.

Reason why I'm not testing it is because I want to hook this all up right the first time (nothing is wired yet). If Accessory 2 also cuts during startup, then you are right, I can reprogram the flex relay to ACC2.

Sorry I meant to say, the reason why I don't go ahead and test the truth table is because it's not installed in my car yet. I wanted to get as much pre-wired outside the vehicle before throwing it into the car

Thanks for your help. The only slight drawback to this method I would see would be the excessive 1-second drain of power during the remote-start sequence from the extra components that will be powered lol. Can you see any other drawbacks? Otherwise, I will go this route, thanks again

Nevermind, just realized I can use the input for ACC2 from the output of IGN1, and it won't come on unless IGN1 is on as well, and it will also cut out during cranking. Just like factory! Booya!! Thanks for the tip
