I have a 2010 Santa Fe coming tomorrow for a starter and I'm having trouble flashing the Blade TB bypass. As far as I've been told, the vehicle has a smart key so it will most likely have the immobilizer (haven't yet seen the vehicle yet to verify). Every time I try to flash the starter with the Blade, it gets almost to the end and comes up with a "macfailedexception" error. I've tried 2 different computers and 2 different flash cables. Nothing seems to be working... Please help!

I got it figured out. The module was bad. Luckily I had an extra one laying around and that one programmed perfectly. Looks like i better start keeping some extra bypasses laying around.

I didn't do anything with it just yet, but the 2nd module I had flashed first try. On the next starter I have I'm going to try it again to see if it maybe was just something with the site and coincidence that it worked on the 2nd one.

I had an ADS DL with a bad Orange ( Data ) wire output.  Easy to troubleshoot but a real show stopper during install...  Glad I had a spare flashed and all ready to go.  ( Doing mobile installs, you never know if WiFi is available.)

Also had a Blade AL that wouldn't take a flash but caught that long before actual vehicle install.

Soldering is fun!

This was a blade tb and yea, it just wouldn't flash. It kept giving me that macfailedexception error. I'll give it another go before returning it to my distributor.
