ipdm relay

Going to be installing remote start on a 2010 Nissan Rogue in a couple of weeks. I have a question regarding the IPDM wiring. Is there only four wires to be connected? I see it appears as though which the IGN is powered and the vehicle is in neutral or park the Starter 1 and Starter wires make a connection? Am I understanding this correctly? Or are either the starter 1 or starter 2 wires being cut? Am I overthinking it or is this diagram exactly how I should be wiring it. G Lock

If you didn't buy your bypass yet, do yourself a favor and buy a Fortin Evo-Can. MUCH easier install! No need for IMPD Relay, No need to interrupt the white ignition wire at the intelligent key module, and no need to goto the BCM behind the glovebox to cut a security light wire. Just ignition wires, parking lights, and TX/RX wires, can wires, keysense, and drivers door pin. You can find the drivers door pin in the drivers kick panel, same color as what is listed at the BCM. Everything done under the drivers dash. Kinda like a toyota 40-bit key install...LOL. Supper easy with Fortin. Fortin install guide: Link Connection #4 for the rogue

A big X2 with flobee4!!!    The Fortin EVO-CAN ( or EVO-ALL ) is the way to go.

If you have to do it with a relay in the IPDM, use a sealed relay, solder everything and keep the wires short.  There isn't too much room in that lower area.
