clifford matrix 1.3x 2 remote

If I have a CLIFFORD MATRIX 1.3X2. Will only Clifford Remotes Program to it? Or will I be able to program a Viper 5701 Remote to it? Thanks for the Input.

The Clifford 1.3x uses the same brain that the Viper 5301, Python 424 and Python 580. The remotes look slightly different on the Viper side but program the same. The remote model numbers are 7251 for the 2way 7152 for the 1way companion Just add V, P or X after the model number to find the Viper, Python or Clifford specific replacement. But they are all interchangeable.

I have a Python remote start with a Viper, Python and a Cliffrod remote programed to the same remote starter.  Works the same.

The 7351 lcd will also work as long as the antenna is 10/D date code or newer. You can also replace just the antenna head which is a 6211t with a 6711t to upgrade to the lcd or HD lcd remotes.
