Hello there,
I've a 99 Honda Accord that doesn't arm the security (indicators used to flash 3 times when armed, and the tiny lights beside the front lock used to flash) alarm but locks all doors?
It was hit and miss at times but now doesn't work at all.
Would someone please help me? I've checked the fuse both inside the car and in the bonnet, all ok.
Manyy thanks in advance

possibly a sticking door, trunk, hood switch ?   Maybe try spraying the door latches with wd40 a few times see if that helps free things up

Hi chev104275,
Many thanks for your reply! I'm new to cars! (this is my first car)
Which switch are u referring here? The switch that also switches the lights inside the car or any other switch?
Many thanks mate. :)

So far as I remember 99 UK Accords never had factory alarms.
More likely the a/market system has failed.
That 3 times flash was simply the keyless entry system responding to your fob.

Good point Howie I was thinking factory alarm. Should've asked that first. Could the OP post a pic of the remote ?
